Hemlington Baptist Church

Pointing people to Christ

Sundays

Our Sunday services are held at 10.30am and 6.30pm.

Bible

Our morning service is family orientated and includes a short talk for the children. During the sermon there are facilities for young children (aged between 0 – 10 years) and we serve refreshments at the end of the service. The service generally lasts about an hour.

The evening service is more adult-focused, although all ages are welcome.   The sermons are usually based on a series, for example we have just finished working through the Easter story and are now currently studying the life of Nehemiah.

You can catch upon any sermons you have missed here.

Communion

Communion pictureOur Church members meet around the Lord's Table on the first Sunday evening of every month. Our communion service is open to visiting believers baptised by immersion and in active membership with other churches. The Lord's Table is all about Christ's family coming together in fellowship to remember the Lord's death.  We request that visitors introduce themselves to the Pastor or Deacons before sitting down to communion. We also hold additional communion after morning worship at certain times of the year, these will be announced in the weekly notices.
